There are plenty of talent shows on television, like America’s Got Talent, American Idol, and X-Factor. Judges scout crowds of people to find the latest and greatest talented people among us, but sometimes, someone exceptional stands out among the crowd. So is the case of Evan Le.

Born in California in 2011, Evan was exposed to music early on when his parents bought a piano for his older brother to learn to play. Little Evan would sit patiently listening to his brother practice, and as soon as he finished, Evan would try to replicate what he had just heard. As it turns out, he wasn’t bad at it either.

It became obvious to Evan’s parents very quickly that the tiny tot had a knack for music. Like other prodigy musicians that got their start at a young age, Evan seemed to know his way around a piano better than many experienced adults. His parents signed him up for lessons too.

When we think back to child musical prodigies we think of people like Mozart who began composing music on the violin and piano when he was a mere five-years-old. There are modern day prodigies as well such as Cedric Co who composed his first song at the age of six.

In the video below you’ll see five-year-old Evan as he sits calmly in front of the piano during a recital in Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam. Yes, the child prodigy is already traveling to perform around the world. When Evan’s fingers touch the keys, you’ll see what a talented little man he really is.

His fingers dance across the keys as he pelts out Chopin’s “Minute Waltz.” The video has over 800,000 likes and the prodigy has his own YouTube Channel with over 40,000 subscribers. See for yourself why this young man has become such a music sensation.
