David is a young man who shares a close bond with his father, so when his dad was diagnosed with cancer back in 2014, he wanted to do anything he could to help him. That’s why David and his sister Leandra launched a fundraiser for their father in which they agreed to shave their heads in solidarity with him.

Three years after shaving his head, and without a proper haircut since, David’s hair had grown long. David’s hair had grown so long that it was past his shoulders, and his sister Leandra decided that it was time for him to get a new look, so she enlisted the help of “The Rachael Ray Show” to get her brother the makeover he needed!

While David’s long hair was quite beautiful, Leandra feared that it would negatively affect his dating life. David came to agree with his sister when he was mistaken for a woman at one point, and host Rachael Ray brought in celebrity hairstylist Tabatha Coffey to cut off a chunk of his hair on live television!

David started to look younger as soon as his hair began coming off, but this was just the beginning of his transformation. Finally, it was time to reveal David’s new look to Leandra and the television audience. When the new David walked out onstage, nobody could believe their eyes because the young man looked amazingly different.
