Have you ever looked at your dog and wondered what they are thinking? The expression on their face, the twinkle in their eyes, all those things speak volumes but you still never really know what they are thinking. One dog owner was wondering the same thing about his beloved pet so he decided to give him a voice.

In the hilarious video below, you can hear the dog’s owner talking to his pet. We’ve all done that before! What makes this video so unique is that his dog actually talks back and the two carry on a full blown conversation.

Using voice over technology, the dog and his owner discuss the owner’s recent trip to the pet store. Apparently the dog has been wanting a new pet kitten. The owner teases him and tells him that he looked at snakes, guinea pigs, and all sorts of pets.

The dog starts to lose his cool with his owner’s antics. At one point, the impatient dog threatens to chew the arm off the couch if his owner doesn’t tell him what he got during his trip to the pet store.

Suddenly from another room you can hear the tiny meow of a kitten and the dog’s eyes light up as he asks, “What was that?”

Finally, the owner breaks down and tells the black and white pup that he didn’t get a kitten at the pet store. Instead,  he went to an animal shelter to pick up a new friend. What happens after that is nothing short of hilarious!
