Earlier this month, north Texans were told by their local meteorologists that a hailstorm was coming, and members of the media urged the public to take action in protecting their vehicles.

“This [is] what happened with my Cadillac Escalade Esv 2018. Here in Frisco,” Alex Mazieri wrote on social media in response to the weather report. Before long, the internet was flooded with photos of Texans finding uniquely hilarious ways to try and protect their cars.

Some Texans who had thought ahead of time and were able to afford it got an inflatable hail protector, fired up the air pump, and placed their cars in a bouncy-house-style cocoon.

Texans who were lucky enough to have garages were able to squeeze four cars into a three-bay garage using some bizarre Tetris block geometry that is difficult to understand.

“Plenty of room in the garage but my husband’s truck doesn’t quite fit!” Jennifer Seale wrote on Facebook.

One family even turned their front porch into a makeshift garage!

“Excuse me while y’all are grabbing y’alls beds, mattress toppers, etc.” wrote Jo Peterson.

This person used their pool toys to cover up their vehicle. I wonder if this will actually protect the car at all!

Now this tough truck is prepared for the hailstorm like few other vehicles could be!

This guy only had cardboard boxes, but he did not let this stop him from creating a shield of sorts for his car.

Here’s a guy who filled some garbage bags with grass clippings to try and shield his car. This is an interesting idea to say the least!

Finally, this person is leaving their car’s fate up to God.

In the end, while there was a storm, there was no hail in Texas this month. All these efforts may have been for nothing, but they sure did entertain us all!
