When Armand Foisy was traveling down a snow covered road with his mother, he thought it was majestic and beautiful. He had no idea, however, what his spry mother had in mind for him that day. At 101-years of age, Foisy’s mother was full of surprises, and this day would be no different.

Snow has a way of bringing out the kid in all of us. It’s beauty is breathtaking, the crunch under our feet, and even the feel of it touching our skin is something that is one of a kind. We can’t help but grab a handful of it and make a snowball or build a snowman, even if we’re over a century old.

Foisy says he and his mother were traveling down the road when the big, fluffy flakes began to fall onto the already snow covered ground. He wanted to pull over and let his mother enjoy the view. What he didn’t know was that as soon as he pulled over, she wouldn’t just sit in the car and watch.

Once the car stopped, she immediately hopped out of the car and began gathering snow into her hands. You can hear her giggling like a child as she packs the snow into a tight snowball like she might have done as a child.

Foisy says he always has a camera on hand to catch moments just like this with his mother. Foisy’s mom is 101-years-old and he’s aware that every moment he spends with her is special and momentous. He was lucky enough to catch her playing in the snow too.

She packs the snow into a snowball and gleefully throws it towards the trees. Her smile says it all. This viral video reminds us all to stop and take a little time out to enjoy the simple things in life.
