Jaws is known for being one of the scariest water movies of all time. That’s why it has come as a surprise that a Texas resort is offering fans the chance to watch the 1975 film while floating in the water!

For the fifth year in a row, the Volente Beach Resort and Beachside Billy’s is offering sixteen water showings of the Steven Spielberg movie. Starting in June, the movie will be shown every weekend through August.

Tickets for the water screenings were $55, and they will likely be a similar price this year. Watching this terrifying movie in the water is definitely an experience that you will never forget!

Jordan Peele, director of the movies Get Out and Us, has been open about how much this movie influenced him as a filmmaker. He even had a character wear a Jaws shirt in his latest film.

“First of all, obviously [Spielberg’s] films have influenced me a great deal. One of the first things I did when I finished the script was… I want[ed] to put Jason in a ‘Jaws’ shirt,” Peele said. “So I reached out to Steven… begged him… I said, is there a ‘Jaws’ shirt I can use for this film?”

Thankfully, Spielberg happily gave him permission.

“It was such a validating moment for the design of this film that we were able to get that,” Peele concluded.
