There’s a huge stereotype in the animal world that dogs do not like mailmen and are somehow afraid of them. Now, however, a new video is going viral that blows this stereotype right out of the water!

Meet Pippin, a 6 year-old golden retriever who lives with her family in South Carolina. Pippin is a friendly dog who loves everyone, but over the years, she’s become particularly fond of mailmen!

Every single day, Pippin waits eagerly by the front door for any mail carriers or delivery people. The mail carriers have become fond of her as well, and they always stop to give her a belly rub or even sometimes allow her to ride around the block with them.

UPS drivers have started leaving treats for Pippin on her front porch, even if they don’t have packages to deliver to her!

“One time, she raced to the back of the truck and stole our UPS man’s sub sandwich and he was so sweet about it,” said Pippin’s owner.

One FedEx driver was originally so scared of dogs that he refused to come to the front door with a package. Pippin’s family helped him with sensitization training, and over the course of just a few months, he became best friends with the dog!

In the video below, you’ll see some highlights of Pippin’s interactions with mailmen. The video has quickly gone viral, being viewed over 16,000 times in just one week! Social media users just can’t get enough of this adorably friendly dog.
