It’s always interesting when a strange beauty trend gains traction and goes viral. Now, the latest odd beauty trend to garner attention are nails that are inspired by teeth!
Nail Sunny is a Russian nail salon that has gained viral attention on their Instagram page for their maxi pad manicures, hookah nails, crawfish claws, and even nails that give birth. Just when we thought that they could not get any weirder, Nail Sunny is going viral once again by creating nails that look like teeth.
While some social media users have criticized the nails, others have defended the salon for creating them.
“What a lot of you leaving negative comments on Instagram and Twitter fail to realize is that these designs aren’t for everyday wear,” one social media user commented. “This is JUST ART. These designs are often entered in nail art competitions and win THOUSANDS of dollars in cash, prizes and even notoriety.”
“Nail Sunny you guys are great!” another user added. “All your ideas are incredibly original and the execution is perfect! Don’t listen to the haters and please keep doing what you do because there are people out here that appreciate the humor and art!”
