Kyrsten Greene is a woman who has loved the Disney movie The Little Mermaid ever since she was a little girl. When it came time for her wedding, Kyrsten’s father decided to make her lifelong dreams come true in a way that she never could have imagined.

On September 29, Kyrsten married her fiancé Chris Rowe in a beautiful ceremony in Avalon, New Jersey. They had met in Washington D.C. back in 2014, and their website states that “Chris was blown away by her friendliness, wit, and sarcasm.”

After a ceremony on the beach, they had their reception in the Icona Gold Inn Ballroom. Everyone was having a great time, but Kyrsten had no idea that her father had a trick up his sleeve that he was waiting to show her.

While wearing Micky Mouse gloves, Kyrsten’s dad stood up at the reception to make a few announcements. Once he had finished, he said, “Oh, by the way Kyrsten, what is your favorite movie?”

Without hesitating, she replied “The Little Mermaid.” Her dad then left the room, and both Kyrsten and Chris strained to see what he was doing.

To their shock, he returned escorting Jodi Benson, who played the title character of Ariel in The Little Mermaid!

“Guess who I found hanging out by the sea,” he said.

As a lifelong super fan of the movie, Kyrsten could not believe that Jodi was actually there.

“Are you kidding me?” she exclaimed.

Kyrsten’s dad had somehow gotten ahold of Jodi and convinced her to come to the wedding. There, she performed the song “Part Of Your World” from the movie!

Jodi got a big kick out of appearing at the wedding.

“The fact that [The Little Mermaid] has had such longevity is amazing,” she said.

Kyrsten could not believe that her father went so far to make her wedding day unforgettable.

Video of the surprise and Jodi’s performance has quickly gone viral, touching the hearts of fans all over the globe! Check it out below.
