A man is being praised for completing a beautiful act of kindness when he bought a stressed out mother four new tires after hearing a conversation she had at the auto shop about not being able to foot the $1,400 bill for this.

Sergio Rodriguez was so touched when he witnessed what happened at America’s Tire Company in Hemet, California that he took to Facebook to post about it. He began by describing this as a “humanity moment.”

“This man 70 years old, named Phil was there for tire service,” Sergio wrote. “A young lady named Alex with a little girl came in for a flat tire repair. Come to find out the tires on her Silverado were all bald and in need of replacement. The girl was stressed because she couldn’t afford the tires. Phil, without skipping a beat said ‘I’ll buy all 4 tires for her.'”

“The entire store was shocked. Alex said thank you about 100 times,” he continued. “Phil was mister smooth and humble, with a big heart. This man blessed this young lady and simply asked that she Pay it forward. I absolutely love this. He dropped almost $1,500. Probably saved this girls life and her kids.”

With so much negativity in the world today, it’s easy to forget that there are still good people out there doing kind things for one another. We would all do well to be a little more like Phil, and to pay it forward ourselves the next time we find ourselves in a situation where we could help out a stranger.
