You might recognize these wild ladies as the hosts of NBC’s Today Show. These ladies have livened up morning television together for several years, but this time, they rocked night time television surprising everyone on one popular evening show.

Kathie Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotb not only have chemistry on television, but they also proved that they have talent when it comes to singing, or at least one of them does. The ladies appeared in matching outfits on the hit show The Voice where they made the crowd go wild with their rendition of Carol King’s “You’ve Got a Friend.”

They appeared on the show to surprise host Carson Daly as well as judges Adam Levine, Blake Shelton, Alicia Keys, and Kelly Clarkson. And surprise them they did. All four judges pressed the buzzer, if not out of enjoyment of their music, but out of curiosity for the act taking place behind them.

Clarkson was the first to turn around. Shelton informed the duo that Gifford definitely carried the duet, and Kotb agreed that she is the weakest link between the two. Most people are familiar with Giffords’s singing abilities, but were shocked when they turned around to find her partner, Kotb.

Gifford is known for writing songs, such as Carrie Underwood’s hit song, “Jesus Take the Wheel” and Chris Young’s “The Man I Want to Be.” Although she no longer sings professionally, she was known to have done that at one time in her career too.

The lady duet, not surprisingly named The Winos, joined Team Kelly for future appearances on The Voice. They made their first appearance with friends Kris Jenner and Curtis Stone cheering them on from behind the curtain.
