Sophie is a Maltese puppy who kept escaping from her kennel in the days after her owners got her. This confused the owners greatly, and to get to the bottom of what was happening, they decided to set up a hidden camera. When they saw the footage, they could not help but laugh when they realized that another dog in the home was responsible for her escapes!

The family also owns a German Shepherd named Twitch, and it quickly became obvious in the video that it was him who was helping Sophie get out of her kennel. The fact that Twitch figured out how to infiltrate the kennel should come as no surprise, as German Shepherds are known for being some of the most intelligent dogs around.

“The German Shepherd is highly intelligent and will not be content to live life as a couch potato,” VetStreet said. “He’s a dog of action, and he needs to live with an active person who will give him a job worthy of his talents.”

Twitch was so excited to have another dog friend that he had no intention of allowing Sophie to remain trapped in her kennel. That’s why as soon as their owners left the room, he leapt to action!
