There’s an age old stereotype that dogs and cats do not get along, but a new video has just come out that completely blows this out of the water!

The touching video shows the moment a dog picked up a kitten with her mouth and brought it into her doghouse to save the kitten from the freezing cold. The kitten likely feared the worst when she found herself in the dog’s mouth, but the canine quickly showed that she meant no harm to her!

The dog’s owner was so surprised and happy when she saw what was happening that she just knew she had to record it. The video of the dog helping out the kitten has quickly gone viral, being viewed over 32 million times and touching the hearts of people all over the globe!

Though people love the video, many have slammed the owner for not bringing both animals inside.

“Love the dog, especially since it was more humane and caring than the stupidly ignorant “human” filming this!” one social media user commented, with another adding, “What a great dog..now the person taping should step in and help!!”

Others have said that we could all learn a lot from the dog.
