Having a dog is something that nearly every child wants, and there’s nothing like the moment that they are first introduced to their canine friend. Now, one touching video is going viral showing a little baby meet her new puppy for the first time, and her reaction is priceless!

Ashlyn Davis and her husband are the parents of an eight month-old baby girl named Paulina Rose, and the New Mexico family recently decided that it would be a good idea to get a dog for their family. They ended up getting a little Yorkshire Terrier named Coco, who was so tiny that she could almost fit entirely in Ashlyn’s hand!

When it came time for Ashlyn to introduce the puppy to Paulina, she was not sure how her little girl would react, so she had her husband film the introduction. It’s safe to say that her reaction certainly did not disappoint!

As soon as Paulina laid eyes on Coco, the baby girl’s eyes got so big that they looked like they were going to pop out of her head! She started to pant in excitement and spread her arms out wide, as if she was trying to show how much love she already had for Coco. Paulina loses it even more when her mother brings Coco closer to her. Everyone who has ever gotten a new puppy can relate to this baby’s excitement!

After about a minute, Paulina finally composes herself enough to touch Coco, who stays sitting calmly in Ashlyn’s hand.

At this point, Paulina wants nothing more than to cuddle with Coco, but Ashlyn knows that she might be a bit too young to do this right now, so she keeps the dog at a safe distance. There will be plenty of time for cuddles in the years to come!
