Police officers put their lives on the line to protect the rest of us every day, yet they rarely seem to get the respect that they deserve in this country. That’s why it came as a nice surprise to four police officers when restaurant staffers decided to give thanks to them in a beautiful way.
Officers with the Slidell Police Department love visiting their local Outback Steakhouse for lunch, and manager Arline Wood has nothing but nice things to say about them. Waitress Zoe Rao also said that “they’re the sweetest guys.”

The local police officers always treat staffers at the restaurant with kindness and respect. One night, four cops went to the Outback Steakhouse for dinner after working a long shift. Zoe ended up waiting on them, and after dropping off their receipt for $67, she added a little note to the receipt that touched their hearts.
They were stunned to see that Arlene and Zoe had picked up their tab to thank them for their service!

The officers were so thankful for the note that they gave Zoe a huge tip. They also posted the note to Facebook along with the caption, “Words can’t describe how this makes all of us feel. Thank you Ms. Arlene and Zoe for being so kind and showing your appreciation for law enforcement.”
Arlene and Zoe said that they were not expecting their actions to go viral and that they only wanted to let the officers know that they were loved.

Arlene and Zoe are now hoping that their story will inspire others to give thanks to police officers as well. We want to applaud these two ladies for their support of our men and women in blue!
