Music is one of the most powerful forces on earth, as it has the power to completely lift up someone’s spirits when they are feeling down. Now, a video is going viral that showcases the power of music in a beautiful way!

It all started one Saturday night when Olivia Kilburn’s grandmother was admitted to the Saint Thomas West Hospital in Nashville, Tennessee. There, the family met a nurse who proceeded to help heal her grandmother with some incredible music.

Mikea Braden is a nursing technician at the hospital who typically likes to hum music while she makes her rounds around the hospital. When Olivia’s grandfather heard her singing, he decided to ask her if she would mind singing the hymn “Amazing Grace” to help lift his wife’s spirits. Without hesitating, Mikea said that she could indeed do that, and what happened next was pure magic!

Olivia filmed as Mikea began to sing, and she shocked everyone by showing that she has a very powerful voice that allowed her to nail all of the emotions of the song.

The entire room was in awe as Mikea sang, with everyone closing their eyes so that they could experience everything her music had to offer. The song had an especially noticeable affect on Olivia’s grandmother Patsy, who was visibly touched by it.

Thankfully, Patsy is now out of the hospital and is doing much better. As for Mikea, we hope that she continues to share her beautiful voice with the world whenever she can. This is a gift that is far too great for Mikea to keep just for herself!
