These days, it’s extremely uncommon for parents to wait until a child is born to learn their gender. With ultrasounds being able to reveal the gender earlier and earlier, most parents find it hard to resist the urge to find out what gender their baby will be.

In the video below, you’ll see two parents who actually did decide to wait to find out the gender of their baby until he or she was born, and the dad’s reaction to the birth is priceless!

The video opens with the dad eagerly waiting to see what gender his child is. As soon as he sees the gender, he starts screaming so loud that the doctor has to tell him to quiet down so as not to scare the others in the room!

“It wasn’t a case of being excited; we were both stunned,” the dad explained afterwards.

It turns out that this couple were already the parents to five girls, and the dad had pretty much given up all hope of ever having a son. That’s why he could not contain his excitement when he saw that he was having a baby boy!

Even the doctor found the dad’s reaction to be hilarious!

It’s impossible not to have a smile on your face when watching this dad realizing he finally has the son he’s wanted for years. He would have been happy with another girl too, of course, but the surprise of having a little boy finally is overwhelming!
