We all have little knick-knacks laying around the house that we’ve accumulated over the years. Though many would think that these random items are not worth any money, some of them could actually have you scoring a hefty payday!

Precious Moments rose to fame in the 1970s, and by the 1990s, they were everywhere. Anyone who was around back then can likely remember getting one of these figurines as a present at some point, whether it was for Christmas or a birthday.

At the time, these figurines cost just $15, but one of them specifically is now worth a whole lot more than that. Paul Burton, a spokesperson for Woolvey Fine Antiques & Collectibles, just revealed that the “God Loveth A Cheerful Giver” figurine could be worth a staggering $2000 now!

Burton went on to admit that while the figurines “had valuations placed on it.. in the excess of $2000,” it could be difficult to actually sell one for this much.

“I don’t believe I have seen one actually sell for more than half of that, although they are still occasionally listed for sale in that price range,” Burton said.

Even so, this figurine can still sell for hundreds of dollars, which is nothing to scoff at. This specific figurine has been selling on eBay for between $188 – $250, which is quite a bit more than the $15 the sellers bought them for.

Burton explained that the “God Loveth A Cheerful Giver” figurine is so valuable because it is one of the original 21 Precious Moments collectibles that were released back in 1979.

He added that there “isn’t another stand-out I can think of that would be close to this price.”
