The maid of honor and best man are two of the most important roles in a wedding, as it is up to them to make sure that everything runs smoothly for the bride and groom. They are also often tasked with giving a speech at the wedding reception, and they typically need to come up with something to say that is both humorous and poignant.

When Nick was getting married, he chose his 7 year-old son Vincent to be his best man. When it came time for the little guy to give his speech, he did not seem a bit nervous as he got up in front of all the wedding guests.

Vincent confidently grabbed the microphone from the host’s hand and proceeded to give a speech that was full of jokes, sweet anecdotes, and well wishes, leaving both his father and his new stepmom Lauren in tears.

One of the best moments of the speech came when Vincent compared his dad to a superhero.

“Every real superhero needs a sidekick, and that’s me,” Vincent said. “And every TRUE superhero needs a pretty girl by his side, and that’s Lauren. In my opinion, we make an unstoppable team.”

Vincent ended the speech with a toast that had everyone laughing, especially when the little boy declined a glass of water being handed to him!
