Animals are known for having some unique defense mechanisms. Dogs will bark, growl, and run from people when they feel threatened. Sometimes, when they have no other option, they will even bite. This little dog has something totally unique he does when he gets taken from his owner; he plays dead.

Daniel’s dad had just gotten a new dog and he wanted to cuddle with the tiny little fellow, but the dog had other things in mind. Sitting in the safety of his dad’s lap, the little dog barks at Daniel to stay away. When barking and growling don’t work and Daniel picks him up off his dad’s lap, the little dog kicks into a whole new gear. He hilariously plays dead!

The tiny black and tan dog freezes stiff with his legs sticking into the air and his tongue hanging out of the side of his mouth. The people in the room watching the marvelous display of acting can’t even tell if the little guy is breathing.

Even though Daniel tries to soothe the dog and snuggle with him, the dog continues to play dead. He wasn’t having any of Daniel’s attempts to be friends.

When Daniel finally gives up and returns the little dog back to his dad’s lap, the little dog springs back to life. He starts barking and growling, threatening Daniel to leave him alone again.

Daniel tries one more time to pick up the little dog and gets the same reaction as the first time. The pup is “dead” in his arms again. Back to his dad he goes where he springs back to life. We’re loving this furry fellow’s creative and hysterically funny shenanigans!
