It’s always amazing to see the strong bond that can form between large animals and small children. No matter how big the animal is, it always seems like they can sense the innocence of a small child and are instantly drawn to them.

Perhaps the animals can sense that the children are simply curious and loving and have no ill intentions towards them. In the video below, you’ll see a little girl named Lilly Rae form an instant bond with a horse at the Sky High Equestrian Center in Texas after she showered him with love and gentle pets.

The horse responded to Lilly Rae by nuzzling her with his nose.

From the way Lilly Rae is touching the horse so softly, it is clear that she has a lot of love for horses. She appears to be in no rush to leave and wants to spend as much time with the horse as possible.

When Lilly Rae’s mother saw what was happening, she just knew that she had to grab her phone to record the pair. We can only imagine that Lilly Rae has asked her parents for a horse of her own many times!

“I gave him a Cheez-It and he didn’t even eat my fingers!” Lilly Rae said excitedly at one point. She is obviously having the time of her life with this horse!

The look of happiness on Lilly Rae’s face serves as a reminder of just how much joy animals can bring to children.
