A wedding day for a couple can be overwhelming – the culmination of tireless planning, wedding expenses, guest list debates, countless vendor appointments and a host of parties, showers and rehearsal dinners. It’s no wonder, the busyness of getting married is sometimes stressful and emotionally draining. In the midst of all that busyness, couples sometimes forget to take a moment together to reflect on their love and what it means to them.

So, it’s especially sweet and endearing to see this groom and bride take a deliberate “time-out” of their big wedding day to share a profound, intimate moment together in prayer!

U.S. Marine Cpl. Caleb Earwood is not only faithful to serving God and Country, he also wanted to show his bride-to-be, Maggie, the same faithfulness on their wedding day.

Just before the wedding ceremony in Asheville, NC were to take place, he asked to pray with his bride. Without breaking the tradition of the groom seeing the bride before the altar, the handsome marine and his love held hands around a corner while he prayed that their marriage be a strong union to serve as an example to others.

This blessed moment brought tears to Maggie who said ” It just made me happy.”  Their journey no doubt will be “always faithful, always forward!”
