The 1987 movie Dirty Dancing is one of the most watched movies of all time, which is why newlyweds Ada and Mateusz decided to pay tribute to it at their wedding in an epic way!

At their wedding reception, the couple decided to surprise their guests by recreating the legendary Dirty Dancing dance sequence of the theme song, “(I’ve Had The) Time Of My Life.” They enlisted the help of the Tomasz Berkowicz Dance Studio to choreograph it, and they had it filmed by wedding videographer, Beres Film.

The song “(I’ve Had The) Time Of My Life” was composed by Franke Previte, John DeNicola, and Donald Markowitz. Performed by Bill Medley and Jennifer Warnes, the song became incredibly popular after it became the theme song of Dirty Dancing, which starred Patrick Swayze and Jennifer Grey.

The movie is a about a young woman named Frances “Baby” Houseman, who falls in love with the dance instructor, Johnny, while she’s staying at a fancy resort with her parents. Knowing her father would not approve of their relationship, Baby hides it from him until they are forced to reveal their relationship after a guest, who had a crush on Johnny, accused him of theft. Baby then had to tell her father about the relationship to clear Johnny’s name.

Ada and Mateusz spent months practicing the routine so that it would be perfect for their big day. When their moment finally came, they performed it perfectly, even nailing the climactic lift that the performance was famously known for.
