When your wedding day rolls around and the ceremony goes off without a hitch, then comes the reception. Will it go exactly as planned? Will your best man do a good job with his speech?

For a groom named George, he had nothing to fear. His beautiful bride sat gracefully beside him and he looked handsome as ever in his black tux. That’s when his brother Anthony stood up beside him with the microphone and a handful of notecards.

But Anthony didn’t need his notecards. He knew exactly what he wanted to say, and after all, according to him, “He had always been the handsome one.”

Anthony is jokester as you’ll see in the video. He shared stories of the brothers gladiator days in the basement, playing catch in the yard, and few (or maybe a lot of) fights.

He recalls the day he met his brother’s bride, Nicole. They were in class together in high school and she let him be who he was and never compared Anthony to his older brother.

Anthony also remembered the day he came home from college and Nicole was on his favorite couch in the house. That’s the day he found out her and his brother had been dating.

Now as he stood beside them on their big day, Anthony explained that he was so proud to serve as their best man. If nothing else, he said, “Because he’s finally admitting to each and every one of you that I truly am the best.”

Anthony said that he believes Nicole is the reason why he and George have grown so close over the years, and he thanked her for making his brother happy in a way that he hadn’t seen him in a long time.

He said he had always looked up to George and admired him and said he would always be there for him. Then he welcomed Nicole in the family and asked everyone to join him in a toast to the happy couple.
