The cat owner in this video tried for two hours to install a cat door for his pet feline Philo “Phil” Cat, but it didn’t go very well for him!

Phil’s dad tried to install a kitty flap for him to come and go as much as he pleases, but the moment he tries to get the cat to try out the flap after hours of work, things take a hilarious turn!

Any cat lover knows that these animals are incredibly crafty and love showing that they are smarter than people are. When Phil’s dad points him towards the flap, the cat walks over to inspect it. After observing the work his dad had done for him, Phil stands up to open the door just as humans do!

Phil wanted to show that he did not need this door, as he can open it just like a person can! The dad worked for hours to try and create something nifty for his beloved pet, only to be reminded the hard way that this cat has a mind of his own!

Hopefully, once the door is locked, Phil will use the flap as his owner intended it. For now, however, he has no intention of complying with what his dad wants!

This video perfectly shows why so many of us love cats. These animals are always hilarious and keep us on our toes! They are also thoroughly independent creatures who simply want to take care of themselves.
