Judy Adams is a high school student that has special needs and she only had one dream. She wanted to be able to meet Tim Tebow, and she had a very good reason why. If you ask Judy about Tebow, she’ll tell you about his foundation called Night to Shine. And if you ask Tebow about kids like Judy, he’ll tell you that they are the inspiration and not him.

So when Judy had the chance to be on The Tonight Show at the same time as Tim Tebow, she couldn’t believe what was about to happen. But this wasn’t actually the first time that Judy had met him. She met Tebow at one of his Night to Shine celebrations, and at the event Judy had reached out to Tebow and asked him to be her prom date. Although he couldn’t make it to her prom, he had another idea in mind.

While appearing on the show, Tebow explains why he couldn’t go to Judy’s prom, but then says, “She is so amazing and so inspirational, and she is here.”

That’s when he calls Judy out of the crowd by name and asks her to join in him a slow dance. He also gave her a beautiful corsage to wear on her wrist as a memory of the special moment.
