Back in October of this year, Surachet Klaewkla was walking to work in his hometown of Trang, Thailand when he heard some high-pitched cries coming from a nearby construction site.

Surachet followed the sound of the cries and walked towards the construction site until he realized they were coming from inside a well. When he looked inside it, he was horrified to see five tiny, mud-covered balls moving around. They were so covered in mud that he could not even figure out what type of animal they were at first.

“I thought they were rocks, but after looking closely, they are puppies!” Surachet recounted.

Knowing that he had to save them, Surachet jumped into the well himself and started scooping them out. One by one, he got each of the puppies out of the well.

Once they were safe, Surachet took each of the puppies home and cleaned them. He could not believe how adorable they were when all of the mud was off of them!

Surachet and his family fell so in love with the puppies that they decided to adopt all five of them! He has since taken to social media to show just how much the puppies have changed since then, and people all over the world can’t get enough of them.

The puppies have now been with Surachet for three months, and they could not be happier.
