Oftentimes, it can be quite a challenge for a mother to have to run a few errands with their little ones in tow. Rebecca Paterson, a new mother of a two-month-old daughter along with her two-year-old son stopped into Target to buy some groceries along with a few household items. Unfortunately, this errand trip proved to be an exasperating disaster until lucky for Paterson, an angel stepped in to help her.

Paterson says she was trying to get a few necessities at the store when her son Jacob started having a full-blown meltdown. She was trying to hold on to her baby daughter while calming her screaming toddler. She was starting to put away the few items in her cart and leave when a true angel on earth stepped in to help her.

Tiffany Guillory, a mother of two herself, saw that Paterson was struggling and decided to help the frustrated mother. She went over to Paterson, introduced herself, and said she was going to help with Jacob while Paterson finished her shopping.

Paterson, who says she was sleep deprived and almost in tears, graciously accepted the offer. Guillory followed Patterson around the store for 45 minutes while she did her shopping while cuddling Jacob and whispering calmly in his ear.

The kind gesture of Guillory will never be forgotten by Paterson. She says what started out as a nightmare soon became a blessing in disguise. Guillory, a hairdresser, says she wasn’t expecting anything from her actions because she simply saw a mother in need and wanted to help.

Guillory says she has been in Paterson’s shoes and she knows how hard it is. She says with the baby being so young, Paterson’s hormones were still adjusting, and the toddler was just being a toddler. She knew she could help, so she did.

Paterson says Guillory is an angel on earth for helping her when she least expected it. This random act of kindness is truly inspiring!
