All summer long we saw dance off competitions between police departments, but now the Coral Springs, Florida, police department and fire department might have just started a new trend.
The two departments teamed up to make the best holiday greeting ever. The greeting is a clever, and perfectly timed, video to the Trans Siberian Orchestra song “Wizards in Winter.” If you’ve never heard a song performed by the Trans Siberian Orchestra, you should know that they take the most beautiful Christmas songs and turn them into epic rock songs with flashing light effects.
This video put together by the two Florida departments is so complex that if you’re familiar with Trans Siberian Orchestra you’ll know how perfectly the song and light effects go together.
The video starts by focusing on four emergency vehicles parked in the bays at the station. When the music starts, the vehicles light up their lights in time to the beat of the music. I can’t even imagine how many hours of practice these emergency workers put in to getting the timing right for this one of a kind holiday greeting.
By the end of the video, the police department joins in on the fun and the final result is a video that will have you dancing to the beat. They posted to their social media hoping that local residents will have something to smile about this holiday season.
So far the video has been viewed thousands of times and you’ll see why. Check it out and be sure to share it with your family and friends. I’ve never seen anything quite like this.
