Ivan Kislov is a Russian miner and aspiring photographer who has seen his photos go viral after he captured Arctic foxes in stunning images.

Ivan lives in the remote north-Eastern Chukotka region, and he loves photographing the unique creatures there. He lives in the port city of Magadan and works in Chukotka as a mining engineer. Ivan explained that photographing the foxes is a “relaxation from routine.”

“Foxes are curious and can come very close, and I shoot with wide angle and telephoto lenses,” he said.

When he’s not working in the mines, Ivan can usually be found wandering through the arctic tundra photographing baby foxes. While he also photographs bears, reindeers, and wolves, Ivan says that foxes are his favorite creatures to photograph.
