When most people think of rock stars touring the world performing, they assume that they are only focused on partying. That’s why it came as a huge surprise when it was revealed that the band Metallica has quietly been doing something to help others on each stop of their world tour.
The legendary heavy metal band has reportedly been donating thousands of dollars to food banks on each stop of their WorldWired tour.

The charity said that Metallica just donated $10,000 to the Utah Food Bank, which will be “enough to provide 30,000 meals to Utahns facing hunger.”
This comes weeks after Metallica donated $50,000 to benefit the California wildfire victims.
