Every family has their own Christmas traditions, but most of them include celebrations, laughter, and a lot of fun. We also tend to take in Christmas movies and shows as part of those traditions. One of those shows is the classic Nutcracker ballet. The Nutcracker was originally performed in the Imperial Mariinsky Theater in Russia on December 18, 1892.

It is a fairytale ballet that involves two separate acts that are centered around the Christmas Eve celebration of one family. Since it came to the western countries in 1940’s, it has become one of the most performed shows around the holiday season. However, for the people that went to see the Desert Star Nutcracker Ballet, they got a little more than what they bargained for. But it wasn’t a performance that they’re going to forget any time soon.

Their show was a parody and featured four men dressed in red shirts and white tutus. As soon as they stepped on stage, the audience roared with laughter. The men hopped and twirled around the stage as if they knew exactly what they were doing.

While it wasn’t a traditional Nutcracker ballet, the audience had a blast watching it. The show’s choreographer, Allison Cox, said the actors weren’t trained in dance, which made the routine even more difficult.

Still, the performance is one of her favorites, and by the end, the men are even lifting each other up as if they were professionals. The men do an amazing job of staying in character, which makes it even more funny.

Even though the show has villains, it is really hard to not like them. Check out the video below and be sure to share this comical show with your family and friends.
