Little children are known for throwing temper tantrums when they are told “no” about something. Now, a video is going viral that shows that baby chimpanzees do the same thing!

The adorable video shows a baby chimp throw a massive tantrum after he is told that he can’t come along on a motorcycle ride. The chimp clearly wants nothing more than to get in on the action and have as much fun as the human rider is, but his handlers aren’t about to let him get on the bike!

The chimp holds absolutely nothing back as he lets his feelings about this be known in a huge way.

The adorable video has quickly gone viral, being viewed over 56 million times. It serves as a reminder that we as humans aren’t nearly as different from animals as we might think that we are.

Chimpanzees are known for being very similar to humans in terms of intelligence and overall attitude. In fact, chimps are our closest relatives in the animal kingdom, as we share all but 1.4% of our DNA with chimps. They have strong bonds to their families just as humans do, and they go into deep mourning when a loved one dies just like people do.

Chimpanzees are able to communicate with each other through a complex system of vocalizations, gestures, body postures and facial expressions. Chimps can live to be over 50 years of age, which is why many of the ones that are adopted as pets end up in sanctuaries.
