David Hofmann was just like many other grooms. He was nervous and excited all at the same time and couldn’t wait to see his bride, Brianne Dennis, all dressed up for their wedding. To help him calm down, Brianne and their friend, Timmy Horton had been planning a bit of a prank for months, and David had no idea what was about to go down.

Brianne and Timmy had planned to surprise David when he got his first glimpse of the bride. Timmy donned a wedding dress and a beautiful white veil and gently walked up to David and touched his shoulder.

Photographer Anna Morrison was on hand to capture the entire scene. But how David reacted was even more shocking than the prank itself. When he turned around to see Timmy standing in place of his bride, the look on his face was priceless.

David immediately collapsed in laughter and he and Timmy shared a hilarious moment of friendship. David says he loves Timmy, but not in that way. Seeing him all pale and hairy really calmed David’s nerves.

Brianne and David live together in Marysville, Washington along with Brianne’s 4-year-old son. She said to begin with, she didn’t want any pranks and goofing off at her wedding. She wanted the ceremony to be completely serious. But a few months into planning she changed her mind.

Timmy and Brianne came up with the prank after viewing some wedding jokes online and decided to come up with a prank of their own to share with David and lighten up the mood on the big day.

David said he was nervous to get a first glimpse of his soon to be wife. Timmy admitted that he was nervous and anxious about the prank to start with too.

He says David is his best friend and he loves him and Brianne very much, so he was excited and nervous about the prank. When it happened, he couldn’t help but burst out laughing. That laughing broke the tension for the rest of the day.

Just moments after the prank, David turned around and got to see his real bride for the first time. He says he knew Brianne would be beautiful because she always has been, but she was absolutely stunning that day.

David said there had been so much building up to that moment in time and when he finally saw her, he got a feeling of completeness. He says he’ll remember that moment and day forever.
