For one woman, a routine trip to the gynecologist would turn out to be anything but routine. When her doctor commented that she must have taken extra care when getting ready for her gynecological appointment, she didn’t think much about it until later in the day.
The woman said she was due for her yearly woman’s exam, but her appointment was scheduled for several days away. That changed when she got a call from the doctor that they needed to move her appointment up to that morning. Her appointment was now at 9:30 and it was already 8:45.
Although she usually took extra care in that area before going to the doctor, because of the change of plans, she no longer had time for that. She quickly changed out of her pajamas, grabbed a washcloth laying on the side of the sink, and quickly cleaned her private area. After hurriedly getting dressed, she headed out to her appointment.

At the doctor’s office she sat on the table in her gown and waited on the doctor to come into her room. As he examined her, he commented that she had put in extra effort that morning while getting ready for her appointment. Although she thought to herself that was far from the truth, she didn’t think much of his comment.
After her appointment she went on about her day. She did a little bit of shopping, cleaned up the house, and started preparations for dinner that night. Once the appointment was over, the rest of her day had been fairly routine, that is, until her daughter got home.
When her daughter arrived home from school, she dashed up the stairs. After looking upstairs in the bathroom the little girl ran back downstairs and asked her mom where the washcloth on the sink was. Her mom told her she had used it and to get a different one.
The little girl wailed to her mother that she had to have that washcloth because it had all of her glitter and sparkles inside it. At that moment, the woman realized what her doctor had been referring to when he said she had put extra effort in that morning.

Never again was she willing to set foot in that doctors office again!
