Thanksgiving is just one week away, and which means that Black Friday is right behind it. Black Friday is a day when millions of Americans flock to their local stores to get the best deals that they can.

In recent years, stores have been opening earlier and earlier on Black Friday, with many even choosing to open on Thanksgiving Day. This has been terrible for their employees, who then have to work on a holiday that is supposed to be a time when we can all be with our families.

After a new poll revealed that only 1/4 of Americans prefer Thanksgiving openings, and more than half outright dislike them, lots of stores have taken notice and chosen to close their doors on Thanksgiving Day.
