Winter seems to have struck in several parts of the country. Whether that is a good thing or a bad thing is just a matter of opinion. Some of us despise the very idea of snow and cold weather. Those of us who can’t tolerate the bitter winters typically dread having to go outside, and spend our time waiting on summer to come back around. Others can’t wait for the first snow to cover the ground.

They get excited about the sparkling snow, drinking hot cocoa, and building a snow man. But humans aren’t the only ones that get excited about playing in the snow. We all know that dogs can be very playful animals, but for some of them, the snow brings out an even more playful side of them. Meet Fingal the Maremma/Pyranese sheepdog.

This guy looks like he was made for the snow. He’s already snow white and blends right in, and his coat is thick and furry so he stays as warm as can be even when it’s too cold for most of us. So when Fingal realized there was snow outside, he didn’t hesitate to dive right in. But he took it a step further. He decided to slide down a hill and his owner jumped to catch it on film.
