In the secular entertainment industry, it’s rare to find someone who is open about their Christian faith. That’s what makes talk show host Kathie Lee Gifford, a proud Christian, so refreshing!

During an interview with Billy Hallowell for his podcast, Kathie Lee opened up about her faith and what it means to have Christianity play a role in every aspect of her life.

“The bible says to pray unceasingly. How do we do that?” she asked. “You make your life a prayer, that’s how. With every breath you breathe… its constant awareness of him.”

Kathie Lee also remembered an exchange she had with Megyn Kelly, who once asked her how she has the courage to be so bold about her Christian faith in the entertainment world.

“If I had the cure for cancer — I knew what it was — would I ever withhold it from anybody? Much less somebody who’s suffering from cancer? Never!” Kathie Lee responded to her. “I feel like I have the cure for the malignancy of the soul and He has a name – and it’s Jesus! And I have to share when I’m given a chance because I don’t want people to not know the freedom they can have in Him.”

The “Today Show With Kathie Lee And Hoda” also had a message for other Christians.

“We all have malignancies of our soul,” she said. “We’re looking for love in all the wrong places, aren’t we? Instead of the very source of love Himself. The One who died so we could know love, true love.”
