Orchids are known for being some of the most beautiful flowers on Earth, which is why so many people love to grow them at home. Now, we have a simple hack for orchid fans to try out.
Orchids need tons of water and humidity to stay healthy, but once their flowers fall off, it seems impossible to make them bloom again. However, this hack will have your orchid looking gorgeous again in no time!

Molly Hackett or Ravalli Republic explained that most orchids bloom once a year for three to four months.
“Since very few orchids bloom during the summer, it is not surprising that yours still has only leaves,” she wrote. “Orchids normally begin making their flowering stems in fall or winter.”
Helen Nordvall, an orchid expert from Sweden, has discovered a simple trick that helped her orchids bloom in just two weeks.
“I have tried to read lots of tips during this time. I have watered from above, from below, with nutrition … I’ve tested everything, but none have worked,” she said. “That’s why I was so happy when I finally found this solution,” a translated version of the text reads.

Helen simply pulled the orchids from their roots and rinsed off the leftover soil. She then put the roots in a wide, transparent vase full of water and left it in the sun. Two weeks later, the orchids bloomed and remained that way for months!
All Helen has to do now is change the water once a week and rinse of the roots to make sure they stay healthy.
“It was so easy. I do not have a green thumb, but I really love orchids. It feels very nice that I will never have to throw out any more,” she said.
