If you’re familiar with Grumpy Cat, you know that this famous feline always looks unhappy about something. But step aside Grumpy Cat, because there’s a new disgruntled kitty in town!

Meet Saul. He was found in the streets of London wandering around in the rain all by himself. A man noticed Saul and could tell he was injured so he contacted the Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (RSPCA).

They quickly sent an animal control officer out to rescue Saul and took him to their Putney Animal Hospital. Saul had discharge coming from his nose and eyes, and a badly damaged paw. They believe he might have been injured by a car.

Luckily, after getting the treatment he needed, Saul began to heal, but there was still something unusual about him. Even though he didn’t act angry, Saul seemed to have a perpetually grouchy look about him. The staff at the hospital still don’t know if his permanently grumpy look is due to his injuries or if he had always been that way, but whatever the reason, it looks like the appearance is there to stay.

Saul’s grouchy appearance has garnered so much attention, that he’s even been nicknamed Grumpy Cat 2.0. Luckily, Saul is actually one of the most affectionate cats they’ve ever had at the hospital. So despite the disgruntled look on his face, they are hopeful that Saul will soon be ready to be adopted and find a forever home of his own.
