Samson is a Newfoundland dog who just wants to eat, play with his family, and have his owner home with him all the time. This doesn’t seem like too much to ask, which is why Samson was very angry recently when his mother went out for what he believed to be much to long a time period.

Samson is alright with his owner leaving for short periods of time, but on this particular day, she was gone for far too long for his liking. When his owner returned, Samson did not hesitate to let her know that he was not happy about her lengthy absence.

Brenmichelle, Samson’s owner, arrived back home to find her dog waiting for her by the front door. Samson did not react to her presence, instead just staring at her sullenly. Samson stayed completely still as she got closer to the door, and she realized that he was refusing to look her in the eye.

As she got the cold shoulder from her beloved dog, Brenmichelle started to feel guilty.

“I can see by the look on your face that you’re not even happy to see me. That you’re disappointed, that you’re hurt. I’m really sorry,” she said to him.

Sure enough, her apology worked, as Samson forgave her immediately! He ran right over to Brenmichelle, making it clear that they were best friends again!

This video serves as a perfect reminder of why dogs are man’s best friend. No matter how mad with us they get, they can’t help but forgive us instantaneously!
