All dogs want is to be loved and cared for, which is why this story is so tragic. This poor sweet pitbull just wanted to be loved on, but unfortunately had been abandoned at a park.

Eric Maus is a dog walker who was out taking two of his clients for a stroll in Prospect Park one afternoon. That’s when he came across a sight he had never seen before.

Tied to a tree was a beautiful white and blue pitbull. Also attached to the tree was a note that explained that the pitbull’s name was Mamas and that she was very sweet and needed a home.

When Eric approached Mamas, she remained calm and sweet just like the note said. She didn’t even have a problem with the two dogs that Eric had in tow with him.

Eric knew he couldn’t just leave her there, so he reached out to social media for help. It wasn’t long before Eric, Mamas, and his two clients were on their way to a shelter.

At the shelter, Mamas was treated for a bladder infection and given a thorough checkup. Lucky for her, she will be back up and running in no time and be available for adoption to a loving forever home of her own.
