Meghan Markle and Prince Harry just concluded a royal tour of Australia, Fiji, Tonga, and New Zealand. When they traveled to the Australian city of Melbourne, they met a little boy named Gavin Hazelwood, who stayed home from school the day the royal couple was there just to ensure that he would be able to see them.

Gavin made a necklace for Meghan by covering dinosaur-shaped macaroni in gold paint and stringing them onto a ribbon. To make sure that he would get the chance to give it to her, he made a big sign that said, “I Made You A Necklace” so that Meghan would see it.

Meghan loved Gavin’s gift so much that she wore it for the rest of the outdoor reception that she was at. When Meghan was extensively photographed wearing the necklace, Gavin decided to enlist the help of his parents to create a website that would give others the opportunity to buy necklaces like he made for the duchess for $20 each. He decided on this expensive price because all proceeds of the purchases will be donated to stillborn research, which is a cause close to his heart since his sister was stillborn in 2014.

Gavin has already received over 250 orders from all over the world.

“I want to be like the Prince and Princess and support charities,” Gavin wrote. “I made more necklaces the same as Meghan’s. If I sell them, I’ll send all the profits to research for stillborn babies,” adding that he is “very excited that my necklace money can help save other babies.”
