Michael Buble and his wife, actress and model Luisana Lopilato, have plenty to be thankful for as we approach Thanksgiving. Buble is getting ready to release a new album and the couple recently welcomed their third child.
But the most amazing thing about the year is that their son Noah has recently been declared cancer free. Buble opened up about Noah and the journey to defeating cancer during a recent episode of Carpool Karaoke.
Noah was just three years old when he was diagnosed with hepatoblastoma, a rare type of kidney cancer. The prognosis from the doctors was originally not very good according to Buble.
He says it was his wife Luisana that kept the family strong and positive throughout the journey. He says he struggled just to survive; just to breathe and make it through every day.
During the television show Buble admitted that it is still very hard to talk about as it was the most tragic thing the family has ever experienced. He says when his son received the diagnosis it was as if his whole life was ending.

Thankfully, Noah beat the cancer and Buble now calls him a superhero. He says his son loves Spiderman and Superman, but Buble says he tells his son Noah that he’s the real superhero for surviving something so hard.
Buble finished up the show by making an emotional plea for viewers to donate to Stand Up to Cancer, an organization that helps support cancer research and treatment, a cause obviously close to Buble’s heart.
