It would appear that Prince George may be following in his late grandmother, Princess Diana’s, footsteps. His father, Prince William, recently revealed that Prince George loves dancing.

Prince William recently met with Junior, one of the Radio Teen 1 Heroes finalists at a reception at Kensington Palace. He told Junior that George loves dancing and his mother always used to dance too.

George started taking ballet lessons as part of his school curriculum his first year of school at Thomas’s Battersea. The lessons are required by all first year students and the 35-minute lesson is accompanied by a piano.

The Duke of Cambridge didn’t reveal whether George liked the ballet class, or if he was taking other types of dance lessons outside of the required school classes.

But the tyke’s grandmother also took dance lessons as a child and her passion for dancing continued well into her adulthood, even though it often went slightly under the radar.

Diana once performed a dance routine to the song, “Uptown Girl” that was meant to be a private performance but was later leaked. She also danced with John Travolta at a White House gala in 1985. The two twirled and danced for over 15 minutes.

So whether or not George is taking additional lessons, or just enjoying those at school, it is certain that his father is happy to see his son enjoying dance the way his mother did. Please share this heartwarming story with your family and friends.
