Simon Dell is a wildlife photographer from Sheffield, United Kingdom, but he might have taken his recent project to the extreme. When he noticed a small family of mice living outside his home, he decided to do something very special.
Instead of doing what most of us would, like setting out some traps or turning loose our cat, Simon built them a tiny village. He knew he had to make the place enticing to get them to stay, so he got to work.

Using fruits, vegetables, and other items from around his home, he created a comfortable and safe living space for the family. It didn’t take long for the family to notice before they moved right in.
The family has been named George and Mildred by Simon, and they live in his little village with their daughter Mini. The little space has given him quite an opportunity to nab some adorable photos too.

To feed the little family, Simon picks up berries, nuts, and other treats while he goes on his daily walks. Occasionally, he sets up quite the feast for them.
He says the mice have figured out that he is there to help them and not hurt them, and he has come to really enjoy watching them and taking photos of them.
