Halloween is right around the corner, meaning that millions of Americans are stocking up on candy that they can hand out to trick-or-treaters.

The National Retail Federation has released an estimate that Americans will spend $2.7 billion on Halloween this year. In the lead-up to Halloween, researchers at Candystore.com analyzed ten years’ worth of sales data in order to identify the top-selling candy in each state. Now, the results of their research have been revealed!

Candy corn took the top spot in six states: Nevada, New Mexico, Idaho, Michigan, Alabama, and Rhode Island. Reese’s Cups got the number one selling candy in five states, while Milky Ways took the top position in three states.
