Winifred Ann Kelly, aka Winnie, is 94-years-old and is proud to hold the Guinness World Records title of oldest person in the world living with dwarfism.

She stands just 3’8″ and has always been a capable person. But age has presented her with some mobility issues. When she became dependent on a wheelchair, she was no longer able to leave her house in Strongsville, Ohio.

She was stripped of her independence and desperately needed a wheelchair friendly walkway in front of her house. She had a ramp installed, but every time she used it, she would fall; once so bad that her injuries put her in the hospital.

That’s when a friend of Winnie’s caregiver heard about her situation. Word spread to the local staff at Home Depot, and with one incredible act of kindness, Winnie is now out and about again and couldn’t be more grateful.

Be sure to share Winnie’s story with your family and friends. We could all use a helping hand from time to time.
