All dog owners want nothing more than to keep their beloved pets as happy and healthy as possible. So here’s a recipe for delicious chicken and rice dog biscuits that are both healthy and easy to make at home for your furry friends!

Made with all natural ingredients, there’s absolutely nothing unhealthy about these dog treats. You can also have some fun when you make them by using a knife to cut them into any shape that you want!

Here are the ingredients that you need to make these treats:

  • 6 oz boneless cooked chicken breast
  • 1/2 cup cooked wild rice
  • 1/2 cup chicken stock
  • 1 1/2 cup flour
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 egg

First, preheat your oven to 350 degrees F, then use a food processor to combine your cooked chicken, chicken stock, and wild rice until it turns into a paste. Empty out this paste into a big bowl and add your flour, salt, and egg, before mixing it all together.

Once you have done this, remove the dough from the bowl and start to knead it, then roll out the dough using a rolling pin and then use your favorite cookie cutter shape. Finally, bake for 20-30 minutes until it takes on a gold-brown color, at which time it’s ready for your dog to enjoy!

We must warn you that when you go about adding chicken to the treats, be careful that there are no bones in them. With all the cutting and chopping that this entails, it’s easy for some pesky bones to find their way into the final treat.

You should also not add skin, especially when using leftover chicken that has lots of spices, salt, sauce or marinade in it. While humans love this extra flavor, it can make dogs very sick.
