We’ve all seen animal rescue stories before, but this one is something you don’t get to see every day. This osprey was in trouble, but luckily it stumbled across just the right people who were willing to help.

Cindy and her family were on a boat trip when they noticed a bird that was struggling to take flight from the water. It was obviously exhausted from the struggle. So when they got closer, they knew they needed to do something to help.

Cindy had the idea of handing over the end of an oar to the poor bird in hopes it would be able to reach it and climb on. The bird immediately went over to the board and climbed on.

The bird could sense they were there to help him. Cindy, not wanting to scare the bird, remained calm and held the oar until they reached the land. That’s when the beautiful bird had dried off enough, with just a bit of a nudge, it took off into the sky.
